POETRY & ILLUSTRATION

I’m drowning
in work
in worry
in stresses
in messes....

Count they said,
I was holding you
in my arms
for the second hour
of your life...

We blinked and you’re 3,
you’re not my baby anymore.
Neither of us were ready
we still aren’t.
Holding each other tighter these days,
rocking more, cuddling more...

I'll take the
worn out love.
The worn-off and worn-in
the hugged and snugged
one too many times love...

On my time
he says
we’ll eat
we’ll sleep
on my time....

I told myself
I would soak this time in,
my baby,
our last baby...
